Changed By Blindness

Saul changed his name from Saul to Paul. Paul means "small but humble." Paul persecuted many people who believed in Jesus and God. He was blind for three days until Ananias came and put his hand on Saul's eyes. Then, Saul could see again. After that, Saul had learned his lesson and started believing more in Jesus.

After Saul persecuted Jesus, he was blind for three days. Paul did not drink or eat anything for three days. Soon, a man named Ananias was sent by God. Ananias put his hands on Saul and said, "Brother Saul, the Lord - Jesus, who appeared to you." Saul changed his name to Paul. Paul became nicer and talked a lot about Jesus.

Questions to ponder:

  • Why did Ananias go instead of someone else?
  • How old was he when he was blind?
  • Was Paul scared when he went down to the house in a basket?
  • When did he start hurting people that believed in Jesus?
